A power forward with a dangerous shot, he possesses quick and flashy hands that he mostly uses to create a bit of space to get a shot to the net. His skating is questionable as he owns a poor top speed and average agility and edgework, His top speed is average at best and his skating needs work to make him more agile with a quicker transition game. He owns an amazing release and an incredibly precise shot. He is dangerous on the power play, getting into open space to let his shot fly at opposing goaltenders. As an offense-oriented sniper, he likes getting involved in the rush. His passes in the neutral zone are always precise. That being said, he should follow his passes more often as he sometimes stops skating after he makes a pass. He possesses some quick mitts and he can pull out slick dangles in traffic. He has decent vision and some excellent passing skills, especially his saucer pass. With his physicality, he has a great strength and wins a lot of board battles and always finishes his checks. He likes to throw the body around and is already showing strength. He is a bit inactive defensively and on the backcheck as he doesn’t move his feet much. He does protect the puck well, though, and isn’t afraid to get into the dirty areas.
